Forecast of Rain
During the summer of 2020, the state of Colorado was devastated by numerous wildfires, and the smoke filled the air for months. I look for beauty and movement in whatever subject I feel compelled to paint, so I created a series of fire images: finding something magical in the way the flames and smoke seemed to dance together.
